Veni Vidi Vici: EverQuest 2 Guild - Najena Server
Guild Charter Guild Aim

Veni Vidi Vici (VVV) is a Australian raiding guild on Najena that will consist of a core group of players that will place heavy emphasis on organised raiding, and setting the trend for strategy in regards to end-game content in EQ2. Veni Vidi Vici aim to have ~30-35 people on our roster working together to achieve the goals and ambitions of its membership.

About VVV

We are predominantly based in Australia & New Zealand on Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT +10) (AEDST during Daylight Savings, GMT +11) Our goal is to raid 4 nights per week, starting 8.00pm on weeknights and earlier on Sunday nights at 7pm. We try to finish up no later than 12.00pm. Raiding is compulsory if you are online. The leadership’s expectation is that people joining the guild are able to commit to these periods. If you cannot play at these times at minimum, please don’t waste our time and yours. Outside of our set raid nights there are no expectations from the guild in terms of your playtimes, although you should be consistently trying to better yourself as a player.

Guild Organisation

The guild organisation is very straight forward, each position holds certain responsibilities within the guild and are spelt out below.

Guild Leaders - Uloff and Teal
The Guild Leaders are responsible for the Running Raids, Strats, Discipline & Forums.

Raid Leaders - Uloff, Teal and Crocodile
These officers are responsible for raid organisation, strategies and coordination.

Administration Officers - Mulab and Sowe

Recruitment Officer - Narisa
This officer is responsible for all business regarding Recruitment.

Raider
As a raider you have an expectation to uphold everything that has been mentioned in the Guild Charter. Raiders will always have preference on raids over Rserves as well as loots.

Reserve
Although Reserves are allowed to raid and earn points however you may have be prepared to step aside for raider. Even though a reserve earns points they cannot win an item over a raider.

Recruit
There is a minimum two week trial period for all new recruits. This trial period gives the guild a chance to get to know you and vice versa. Members will also be asked to give feedback about you, to ensure your fit with the guild. You will earn points during your trial period, and you may also bid on loot dropped from raids, however you will not be able to outbid a Raider regardless of your points. You will receive 50 DKP points on joining the guild.

Casual
Casual players are friends and family of the guild members, these players may earn DKP when they are asked to attend a raid but may never bid on items unless they have DKP to cover it and will be ranked last among looting priority. Most often these players will not be able to attend raids and are not expected to do so.

Guild Forums & Website

It is the view of the leadership that the guild forums and website comprise a large part of guild life. Therefore every member is expected to regularly visit both sites and regularly take part in discussions on the forums. Consistent failure to do so will result in a warning.

Guild Membership

VVV is very selective about recruitment. We have an outline of classes that we would like to achieve and our aim of a small roster of close-knit people, capable of defeating raid events in EQ2. If the requirements for raiding change as the game progresses, our recruitment priorities will change to reflect this.

What is expected of you

Be on time
You must be online no less than 30 minutes prior to raid start time, fully repaired and with all of the appropriate equipment for your class. This includes a stack of every type of cure pots, enough repair kits to tied you over till a repair bot is used, poisons, arrows, etc. This also includes having "spare" resist gear with you which will enable you to have over 18k of certain resists that may be required circumstantially.

Must listen and follow instructions
Listen to when raid leaders give instruction, if you don't understand ask a question.

Be the best at your class
You should be constantly finding ways to better your knowledge and skill for your class and acquiring the necessary tools, with which to do that. This includes, but is not limited too, gearing your self up with items to increase your potential on raid and to help you reach set DPS targets, eg adornments, proc gear, spell damage bonuses, healing bonuses, etc.

Be mature players
Not whining, whinging and annoying people. We are not here to hold your hand and tell you every thing will be alright.

Play the game by SOE's rules
There is no exception to this, we don't cheat, hack or exploit in this guild.

Don't bring guild name into disrepute
Every moment you are on you represent Veni Vidi Vici. We hold our name with pride, and we intend to keep it that way. We expect everyone within this guild to realise they carry our guild tag and that they represent us in zones, in pick up groups, public channels and on message boards. Actions that tarnish our reputation will not be tolerated.

In Game Voice

Veni Vidi Vici is now utilising In Game Voice Comms, using Voice during raids is Mandatory. You are not required to speak, but must be able to listen. Once a raid begins, chat on Voice Channel should be kept at a bare minimum and preferably used by raid leaders only. Please use guild chat for discussion.

Guild Connect

vVv uses Guild Connect. If you are of Raider, Recruit or Reserve status you are required to download and install this program. You will be provided with access upon acceptance to the guild. It is essential that you are in GC for all raids.
